My areas of research interest are Novel strategies to improve the drug delivery
to tumor, Role of tumor fibrosis in Nano drug delivery, Drug delivery for Organ
Fibrosis (Lungs, Liver, Pancreas and Kidneys), Pancreatitis, Psoriasis, and Acute
Lung Injury and Inhalation toxicity. We are working on inhalational delivery of
drugs and formulations to treat lung cancer and pulmonary diseases. In addition,
we have facilities to screen new chemical entities (NCEs) for their potential
anticancer and anti-inflammatory activity in various in vitro cell line based
models. We have facilities to evaluate drug safety evaluation using in vitro and in
vivo models. The research work accomplished so far has been published in many
of reputed journals and has been widely cited by scientific community
