Miss. T Sowjanya, Doctoral student in the Dept. of Pharmacology and Toxicology under the guidance of Dr. Chandraiah Godugu for receiving the Best Poster Award at World Congress on Pharmacology – 2019 held on 28th and 29th Aug 2019 at J. N. TATA Auditorium, IISc, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

LUPIN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 2019

Mr. Harsh Barua pursuing M.S(Pharm) in Pharmaceutics department under the guidance of Dr. Nalini Shastri, Dean & HoD has been awarded the LUPIN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP of rupees fifty- one thousand. He was awarded the scholarship as mentioned earlier for his scholastic achievements during the academic year 2017-2019 at NIPER Hyderabad.


BEST POSTER AWARD @ SPER 2018

Mr. Srinivas Angapally, research scholar-Department of Medicinal Chemistry working under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Arifuddin, was received best poster presentation award in SPER 7th Annual International Conference & Exhibition [SPER 2018], which was held at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai [Tamil Nadu], during 23rd-24th February,2018. (Poster number-PCH 03). He got the award for his work on “Novel Sulfocoumarin/Coumarin/4-Sulfamoylphenyl Bearing Indazole-3-Carboxamide Hybrids: Synthesis and Selective Inhibition of Tumor Associated Carbonic Anhydrase Isozymes IX And XI”.


YOUNG SCIENTIST ORAL PRESENTATION AND POSTER

Mr. David Paul (PhD Student, Supervisor: Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar), Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-Hyderabad) has presented Young Scientist Oral Presentation and Poster at 2nd Annual Meeting of Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (SSX)-India on 26th October, 2017, IISC-Bangalore. He also received token of appreciation from Dr. Mathew Harwood (Senior Scientist, Translational DMPK, SIMCYP (UK)) and travel assistanceship from Syngene International, Bangalore.


BEST POSTER YOUNG INVESTIGATOR'S AWARD

27th annual meeting of the diabetic neuropathy study group of the European association for the study of diabetes (NEURODIAB 2017) was held at Villa Gale Hotel, Coimbra, Portugal, 9-11th September,2017 under the chairmanship of Prof. Simona Frontoni. Mr. Anil Kumar Kalvala Pursuing Ph.D in the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, under the guidance of Dr. Ashutosh Kumar awarded Best poster young investigators Award in this year’s Young investigators context of NEURODIAB 2017 for the Poster Presentation entitled with “Pharmacological modulation of mitochondrial chaperones and ATP dependent proteases in experimental diabetic neuropathy”

BEST POSTER YOUNG INVESTIGATOR'S AWARD

Ms. Manojna Daliparthi, M.S (Pharm) 2nd year, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis working under the guidance of Dr.M.V.Narendra Kumar Talluri was conferred with second best poster presentation award in One Day National workshop on "Recent trends in analytical techniques for drug discovery and Pharmaceutical drug development" on 28th October 2017 @ Koneru Lakshmiah University, Guntur, A.P, India. This award was presented by Dr Y. Anjaneyulu, Chairman, RSC–IDLS and Prof V. Peesapati, Secretary, RSC–IDLS.


CALIFORNIA SEPERATION SCIENCE SOCIETY(CASSS) AWARD

Mr. David Paul, Research Scholar, working under the guidance of Dr N Satheesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis received California Separation Science Society (CASSS) Award at 45th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2017), 18-22 June 2017, Prague, Czech Republic. The award consists of Cash Prize; and was presented by Prof. Frantisek Svec (Editor in Chief - Journal of Separation Science, Wiley)


BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD IN NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

Mr. Anurag Lodgekar, Research scholar, Department of Pharmaceutics, working under the guidance of Dr. Naveen Chella and Dr. Nalini Shastri was conferred with Best poster presentation in Pharmaceutics for his work on “Formulation and Evaluation of Cyclodextrin Complexes for improved activity of Repurposed Anti-cancer drug-Niclosamide” at Innopharm 2, 2nd international conference on bridging innovations in Pharmaceutical, Medical and Biosciences, organized by Paramita Health Care Society in association with Innovare Academics Sciences at M.P. Council of Science & Technology, Vigyan Bhawan, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal MP, India on 11 - 12 Feb, 2017.

YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD

Ms. Johnsi Rani, Research Scholar, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, working under the guidance of Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar was conferred with Young Scientist Award in 1st Conference of the Indian Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (SSX®), on 1st September 2016 @ JN Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India. The award was presented by Prof. Michael W. Sinz, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), USA.

SIPRA INNOVATIVE PHARMA RESEARCH AWARD

Mr. Rajesh Thipparaboina, Research scholar, Department of Pharmaceutics, Working under the guidance of Dr. Nalini Shastri was conferred with "SIPRA INNOVATIVE PHARMA RESEARCH AWARDS - GOLD MEDAL" for his work on "Multicomponent Pharmaceutical Materials with Modified Dissolution and Improved Compressibility". The award consists of a Gold Medal, Certificate and Cash Prize; and was presented by Prof. Javed Iqbal, Director, ILS-Hyderabad at Sipra Laboratories on July 2nd, 2016. Sipra Labs Ltd, has instituted these awards for Students/Employees/Colleagues doing Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences with the intention of providing a platform to the aspirants carrying out Innovative Research in developing the New Chemical Entities (NCE), Biomarkers and New Pharmaceutical Products.


RESEARCH SCHOLAR "GENIUS BOOK OF RECORDS"

Mr. Sridhar Goud, Ph.D student of Dr. M. Mallika, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER-Hyderabad has entered into “Total 4 International and 3 National Book of Records” (Genius book-London, Wonder book-UK, Golden star book-New Zealand, Bharath world records-New Delhi, India book-Haryana, Telugu book-Hyderabad, Telangana book-Hyderabad) for delivering a marathon lecture on "Principles in Drug Chemistry and Analytical Tools" for continuous 30 hrs, during 21-22 March 2016 at Kamalamma Memorial Hall, Kakatiya University Pharmacy College, Warangal, in presence of Dr. B. Srinivasa Reddy, CEO of Telugu Book of Records. The list of subjects has explained,

  • Organic spectroscopy (UV-Vis, IR, NMR & MASS)
  • Fundamentals of organic chemistry (Nomenclature & Reactions)
  • Medicinal chemistry of ANS, CNS & Chemotherapy
  • Chemistry of natural products (steroids)

Dr. K.V. RAO SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY - YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD

Mr. Shanti Kumar Saladi, Research scholar, student of Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar was conferred with Young Scientist Award in Biological Sciences for his work on "Quantitation and pharmacokinetics of an active metabolite and dopamine antagonist - Paliperidone in Rats using LC-MS/MS". The award was presented by Prof. Uday B. Desai, Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad at The 14th Annual Science Awards Function at Hyderabad on May 31st , 2014.


IDMA J.B. MODY BEST STUDENT EXCELLENCE AWARD

Ms P. Kavya, did M.S (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Analysis at NIPER-Hyderabad, secured First rank among all the students of B.Pharmacy (2008-12) of JNTU Hyd & all its affiliated pharmacy colleges and she was awarded with three gold medals.(1.University gold medal, 2. Shadan endowment gold medal, 3.Dr. Andhra Naidu endowment gold medal.). The medals were presented by Padma Vibhushan, Dr. Anil kadodkar, renowned scientist of India, DAE Homi Bhaba Chair Professor at BARC, Govt of India on the IV convocation at JNTUH on Nov 9th 2013. Every year Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association (IDMA) encourages and recognizes excellence among Pharmacy students from Indian universities. IDMA appreciates the young talent and award the meritorious students with IDMA J.B Mody Best student Excellence Award which serves as encouragement, appreciation and motivation to pharmacy graduates. The award was presented by Ms. Aradhana johri, IAS Dept of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India at Intercontinental, The Lalith Hotel at Mumbai on Jan 4th 2014.
