National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, an institute of national importance under the aegis of Dept. of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India celebrated its First Convocation on 29th July, 2010, at 11.00 AM, in NIPER-Hyderabad Auditorium, Balanagar Hyderabad.

Following Distinguished Guests were on dias at 1st Convocation of NIPER-Hyderabad on 29th July 2010.

The function participated by Alumni of NIPER-Hyderabad, professionals from pharmaceutical industry, academia, scientists from mentor institute (IICT), and other research institutes.

The Convocation presided over by Shri Ashok Kumar, IAS, Secretary, DoP, Govt. of India and Chairman, Steering committee of NIPER-Hyderabad.

The convocation address delivered by Guest-in-Chief, Padmasri Dr Seyed E. Hasnain, Vice Chancellor of University of Hyderabad. 

Dr J. S. Yadav, Director IICT and Mentor Institute NIPER-Hyderabad, delivered the address.

Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Project Director, NIPER Hyderabad reported the First Convocation of NIPER-Hyderabad.

Gold medals and Prizes were also be presented to meritorious students of the first batch (2007-09) and the second batch (2008-2010) of NIPER-Hyderabad.
