Angelika Bierhaus Award 2016: Dr. Ashutosh Kumar
Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, Asst. Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the Angelika Bierhaus Award (Prize in Preclinical research) by NEURODIAB (Diabetic Neuropathy study group of EASD) - 2016 for his substantial contributions and research achievements in pre-clinical trials in the field of Diabetic Neuropathy.



IDMA Research Award - 2016: Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar
Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar, Asst. Professor, Dept of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the IDMA Research Award - 2016 for his outstanding contributions in the area of Pharmaceutical Analysis.

Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar has gained expertise in various analytical techniques like LCMS, UPLC, HPLC. He received this award because of his research publication and his pioneering research in the field of Pharmaceutical Analysis.

IDMA Young Pharmaceutical Analyst Award 2014: Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar
Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar, Asst. Professor, Dept of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the IDMA Young Pharmaceutical Analyst Award - 2014 for his outstanding contributions in the area of Pharmaceutical Analysis.

Dr. N. Satheesh Kumar has gained expertise in various analytical techniques like LCMS, UPLC, HPLC. He received this award because of his high quality publications in highly cited journals, grant income from major funding bodies like Start-Up Research Grant (Young Scientists) from Department of Science & Technology (DST) etc.

OPPI Young Scientist Award 2012: Dr. Bathini Nagendra Babu
Dr. Bathini Nagendra Babu, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the OPPI Young Scientist Award 2012 for outstanding research work in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

He dwelt into multi-disciplinary research problems in Medicinal Chemistry ranging from the development of new synthetic methodologies to the synthesis of complex natural products reflecting a high order of conceptual originality and experimental excellence. He has extensively used both ‘Chiron Approach’ and ‘Asymmetric Synthesis’ for the total synthesis of complex natural products and synthesis of unusual amino acids of diverse biological activities.

OPPI Young Scientist Award 2011: Dr. Kolupula Srinivas
Dr. Kolupula Srinivas, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the OPPI Young Scientist Award 2011 for outstanding research work in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He served at NIPER-Hyderabad from Feb. 2009 to Aug. 2012.

He has carried out fundamental research work on 'synthesis, molecular encapsulation and molecular modelling studies of peptidomimetics as molecular drug delivery systems and synthesis of new chemical entities as antimicrobial and anticancer agents.’
IDMA Young Pharmaceutical Analyst Award 2011: Dr. M.V.Narendra Kumar
The Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association (IDMA) and the Pharmaceutical Analysts Convention IDMA-APA PAC 2011 conferred prestigious “Young Pharmaceutical Analyst Award 2011” to Dr.M.V.Narendra Kumar Talluri, Faculty, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad.

He carried out his research contribution in the field of Pharmaceutical Analysis. He has made significant contributions towards the exploration of modern analytical techniques application in trace level impurities identification in drugs and pharmaceuticals
OPPI Young Scientist Award 2010: Dr. N. Shankaraiah
Dr. Nagula Shankaraiah, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER-Hyderabad was awarded the OPPI Young Scientist Award 2010 for his outstanding research in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

He has carried out the research work for the development of New Chemical Entities of Anti-tumor Antibiotics in Drug Discovery by Innovative Strategies.
OPPI Scientist Award 2009: Dr. Ahmed Kamal
Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Outstanding Scientist, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Project Director, NIPER–Hyderabad was awarded the OPPI Scientist Award 2009 for his outstanding research in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
